Oribe Introduces a New Chapter for Curly Hair Care

by s.elective

The global haircare industry continues to evolve as brands respond to growing demand for products tailored to individual hair textures rather than universal formulas. Consumers increasingly expect professional collections that recognise the diversity of curls, waves, and coils while combining high-performance ingredients with salon-quality results. According to Euromonitor International, products developed specifically for textured hair remain among the fastest-growing categories within premium haircare, reflecting a broader movement towards personalised beauty routines. As inclusivity becomes an essential part of product development, brands are expanding their collections to address a wider spectrum of hair needs.

“Invest in your hair. It is the crown you never take off,” said entrepreneur and beauty expert Tabatha Coffey. The observation continues to resonate within professional haircare, where healthy hair is increasingly viewed as the foundation of personal style rather than simply the result of occasional treatments. Contemporary formulations now focus on supporting the natural characteristics of every hair type, encouraging consumers to care for their texture instead of altering it.

This philosophy accompanies the latest evolution of Oribe’s curl care collection. The brand has introduced Eternal Curls, a renewed identity for its former Moisture & Control range, reflecting a broader commitment to serving every curl pattern from loose waves to tightly coiled textures. Rather than representing a simple name change, the collection introduces updated formulations and a more inclusive approach to professional curl care. How can a single collection respond to the unique needs of every curl pattern while maintaining salon-level performance?

The new name reflects Oribe’s ambition to create a collection that embraces the full diversity of textured hair. Developed for curl types ranging from 2A to 4C, Eternal Curls places equal emphasis on hydration, definition, manageability, and long-term hair health, recognising that every curl follows its own structure and requires targeted care.

Alongside the new identity, the formulas throughout the collection have been modernised to further improve performance while remaining faithful to the professional standards associated with the brand. The updated range continues to focus on maintaining moisture balance, controlling frizz, and preserving curl definition without compromising softness or movement.

Several products now carry new names while maintaining their place within the collection. Shampoo for Moisture & Control becomes Eternal Curls Moisturizing Shampoo, Intense Conditioner for Moisture & Control is renamed Eternal Curls Intense Conditioner, Cleansing Crème for Moisture & Control evolves into Eternal Curls Cleansing Crème, and Moisture & Control Deep Treatment Masque is now presented as Eternal Curls Deep Treatment Masque.

The refreshed visual identity will also appear gradually as existing inventory is replaced, introducing the new Eternal Curls packaging across the collection over time while ensuring a smooth transition for salons and retail partners.

Complementing the renewed range, Oribe has introduced a new addition designed specifically for textured hair: the Polish & Protect Oil. Developed to support professional styling routines while responding to the increasing demand for products dedicated to curly and coily hair, the lightweight formula completes the collection with a versatile finishing treatment suitable for both salon and home use.

Applied to damp or dry hair, the oil helps refine the final hairstyle, smooth the hair fibre without weighing it down, and provide lasting protection throughout the day. It can also be incorporated into pre-shampoo treatments, extending its role beyond styling into the overall care routine. Designed to integrate easily into existing professional protocols, the new oil reflects the broader direction of the Eternal Curls collection: practical, adaptable, and developed around the everyday needs of textured hair rather than rigid styling routines.

With Eternal Curls, Oribe reinforces the industry’s growing emphasis on personalised haircare. By combining updated formulations, an inclusive philosophy, and products created for the full spectrum of curls, the collection presents a contemporary approach to professional haircare where healthy texture, individuality, and performance remain at the centre of every routine.
