Entertainment has increasingly become part of the luxury experience. Fashion houses no longer limit their creativity to collections and boutiques but invite audiences into carefully designed spaces where music, gastronomy, design, and social interaction create memorable moments. Temporary installations, immersive cafés, and cultural collaborations encourage visitors to participate rather than simply observe. What makes a destination become one of the city’s most talked-about meeting places during a single season?
The importance of experience-led entertainment continues to grow. According to the Global Entertainment & Media Outlook 2025–2029 published by PwC, the global entertainment and media industry is projected to exceed US$3.5 trillion by 2029, driven largely by consumers seeking immersive, in-person experiences alongside digital content. The report notes that audiences increasingly value experiences that combine several forms of entertainment within one destination. This reflects a wider shift in leisure habits, where atmosphere and participation have become as important as the event itself. As entertainment evolves, collaborations between hospitality, fashion, and design continue to redefine how people spend their free time.

Against this backdrop, Swarovski presents Café Swarovski in collaboration with Giardino Cordusio, transforming the courtyard of Palazzo Cordusio Gran Meliá into one of Milan’s seasonal destinations until the end of September. Conceived as an immersive summer experience, the project combines hospitality, design, and visual storytelling in a setting created for both relaxation and social gatherings.
For Swarovski, Milan remains a city closely connected with creativity and cultural exchange. Massimo La Greca, General Manager of Swarovski Italy, describes the city as an international meeting point for design and innovation, adding that the collaboration was created to offer visitors more than a beautiful setting by encouraging them to enjoy a memorable experience in one of Milan’s most recognisable locations.

Throughout the courtyard, bespoke furniture, specially created textiles, and decorative details in luminous pastel colours establish an atmosphere that feels playful, elegant, and distinctly seasonal. Comfortable lounge areas invite guests to spend time outdoors, while a dedicated photography corner encourages visitors to become part of the installation itself, turning each visit into a shareable moment. Entertainment continues through the culinary programme developed exclusively for the café. The signature Crystal Clear cocktail combines Brugal rum, passion fruit, Martini Bianco, chrysanthemum cordial, and vanilla before being served with a diamond-cut ice cube embossed with the Swarovski emblem. Alongside the drinks selection, petite pâtisserie, macarons, and seasonal desserts are presented on Rosenthal x Swarovski porcelain, extending the visual identity from the décor to every detail placed on the table.
Open daily from lunchtime through aperitivo and evening drinks, Café Swarovski presents a fresh interpretation of summer entertainment in Milan. By combining hospitality, gastronomy, design, and social experiences within one destination, the collaboration demonstrates how luxury increasingly creates places designed not only to be admired, but also to be enjoyed, shared, and remembered.
